A woman was extremely angry with an administrator. He was nonplussed by the outburst. "Not all my fault," he pointed to a stack of newspaper headlines. People crowding around had a lot on minds and weren't immediately comprehending.
CONGRESS MAKES A DENT read one headline on a story about behind on bill passing. "The aid in the aid cycle," the man chewed on a soda straw, "that's what prompted them to read 'what happened' as not just exercise anymore. I guess some stuff seemed more like acts of aggression and some stops were pulled."
"Life and death chicken fights," a soldier stared blankly ahead at the plane's seatback.
"Some of these," a woman pointed at a chart of nation leaders, "Were acting like the whole thing was pivoting into world war."
"But not all the UN voting has taken place," a man looked at a calendar of events and said.
"I think the general axis/allies spheres of influence are quicker to align with technology nowadays."
