Dogwood festival time of year

 

No better advice on gardening than from Rufus.  He's on weekly on WPTF-AM, a show called "The Weekend Gardener" 

  When I was in high school we'd go to the Dogwood festival in Greenfield Hill, Connecticut (CT).  People unfamiliar with actual dogwoods and all the tree means to people would wander around for an hour or few and take in "festival".

  I heard up here in Knoxville their Dogwood festival features some sort of sidewalk chalk street art.  That's exciting.
