Of course, one of the first things I did this morning, checked on the missiles. Still at the table pretty much by themselves. Not really being overly threatening--at this point. Pretty imposing in stature. And quite the reputation.
Barely acknowledged similar in kind being fired into the sea by NK.
They haven't touched the food sent in.
I was also thinking about formulas v. informed decision making. Most of the political scripts are coming across as formulaic--right now. Individuals are compiling information; assessing the data; and using the information to make decisions. It's not like formulas haven't been made by informed decision-making (probably?), but one wonders if the formulas have been kept abreast. If tinkerers and tweakers have changed anything significant.
It can feel like we're winging it out here on the streets. Like, it's just luck or some retention that's got most people stopping at red lights. There are various ways (mostly signs at this time) people have expressed: YOU: GARBAGE. From please don't litter to $1000 fine for dumping.
Political party has wrestled the same spectrum of interaction with every issue from abortion to waste recycling. In the U.S. that's what happens. Someone has an initiative and a go at it. It usually helps the someone to have assists and support.
But supporting a person or a cause can be complicated.
Hoggin' it
FINE. I GUESS we'll sit and stand around in the hallway with these pieces of looseleaf
