to him than it is to her. As creatives with compassion, sympathy and empathy, along the way, we've all wrestled with not only why to tell a story, but how. Sometimes we get locked into formulas of storytelling that squeeze out other possibilities.
As we were growing up we (like all humans) had to navigate when in our storytelling too. Bell rings for first period and we couldn't keep telling our friends our version of what happened last night.
Social media changed that some. And being saavy with social media was and wasn't different from politics. See, something like "abortion" is considered an "issue" in surface talk about voting and life, but that's just a word representing a huge topic. As we were growing up we were learning about stuff and we were using creativity as a set of tools to think about everything.
It wasn't always the best fit set of tools to use. But sometimes the creativity set of tools, like the psychology set of tools could be applied "after the fact/s" to fashion something.
